Every so often someone , somewhere comes up with a name for something that cosmetic plastic surgeons have been doing for years. That is exactly the case with the “360 liposuction”.
360 liposuction is a new name for liposuction of the trunk. That includes liposuction of the upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and the flanks/hip area. so, in effect it is the 360 degrees of your body!
360 liposuction takes between 2-2.5 hours or more, and can be combined with a BBL, Brazilian buttock lift, where the fat that has undergone liposuction is injected into the buttocks for a more shapely bum. You might also want to do an abdominal etching at that time to get the six pack ab look.
The recovery is usually within 5-7 days before being able to go back to work but no exercise is recommended for 2 weeks. You will be wearing a binder to help reduce your swelling for a few weeks, and lymphatic massage can help you decrease swelling also.
Final results may take about 2-4 months but after two weeks you can already see a significant difference in your shape.
Of course, like all liposuctions, whether you are a good candidate or not for this cosmetic surgery depends on the quality of your skin. If you have skin that has lost its elasticity, is hanging or loose, removal of the fat will make all that worse! In that situation you may need a tummy tuck / abdominoplasty where you get a 360 lipo along with removal of the skin of the abdomen that is loose and tightening of the muscles.
Eating healthy and exercise after your surgery will keep your new body the way you want it!
