       Blepharoplasty is the name of the operation to remove excess skin and fat from the eyelids. The primary purpose of blepharoplasty is to improve the appearance and, in some cases, the function of the eyelids.  My goal in blepharoplasty is to produce eyelids and eyes that appear natural, function properly and are more youthful in appearance. Blepharoplasty is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures performed. Eyelid lifts are also one of the first procedures that are reccommended by plastic surgeons for patients wishing a younger look.

COSMETIC BLEPHAROPLASTY (EYELID SURGERY)

is a procedure performed to remove the excess fat and wrinkled drooping skin of the upper eyelids and eliminating bags under the eyes. Younger, less tired looking eyes are the result of this procedure. Blepharoplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia and takes 1 hour for either upper or lower eyes and 1.5 hours for both eyelid lifts. You may need to have someone stay with you the night after blepharoplasty surgery and can usually resume work in 7 to 10 days.
